      Reshuffles in Draw games

In draw poker games like 2-7 Triple Draw and Badugi, sometimes players need more cards than what’s left in the deck. When that happens, we shuffle the remaining cards and all the discards together to create a new deck. The hand then continues from the new deck, and this can happen more than once if necessary.

In single-draw games, your own discards never get shuffled back in, so you can’t redraw a card you tossed. In multi-draw games, discards do get reshuffled into the deck. But you’ll never be dealt a card you already tossed.

For example, if you fold the deuce of spades, you won’t see it again on any later draw.

Reshuffles only happen in draw games, not Stud. In Seven Card Stud, if the deck runs out before everyone gets their last card, we use a shared community card. It’s dealt face up for all players to use.
